The talks touched upon the reality of judicial cooperation between the judicial institutions of both countries. The meeting aimed at finding ways to advance this cooperation in order to learn more about judicial systems and best practices as well as build on the judicial experience of both countries.
The discussion also covered the Moroccan judiciary's development witnessed since the establishment of judicial power in the Kingdom and the major legal and constitutional achievements it has accomplished in implementing the lofty royal directives.
The parties agreed to activate cooperation agreements between both Courts of Cassation of the two countries, especially in the field of training and transfer of expertise.
The meeting was attended by members of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power and high officials from the Council and the Public Prosecution Office.
The Turkish delegation is expected to visit several judicial institutions and meet with officials from the Kingdom’s justice system.
