Comprising 299 judges (117 women and 182 men), the newly sworn-in cohort, who took their legal oath in a formal ceremony as stipulated by Article 40 of the Organic Law on the Statute for Judges, has been appointed to various courts throughout the Kingdom. Of these appointees, 249 received general judicial training, while 25 underwent specialized training in Family Law and an additional 25 were trained in Commercial Law.
The official oath-taking ceremony witnessed the presence of the First President of the Court of Cassation and President Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, alongside the Prosecutor General of the King at the Court of Cassation and President of the Public Prosecution, as well as members of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power. Also present were senior administrative officials from the Council, the Director General of the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, and several members of the institute's faculty.
Among the distinguished guests at the oath-taking ceremony were Mr. Mohamadou Mansour Mbaye, First President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Senegal, and Mr. Jean Louis Paul Toupane, Prosecutor General at the Supreme Court of Senegal, accompanied by their delegation.
