Salé, December 11, 2024 – The Supreme Council of the Judicial Power and the Ministerial Delegation for Human Rights inked a cooperation and partnership agreement. The signing ceremony took place at the Justice Ministry’s Training Institute in Technopolis-Salé.

The agreement, signed by Mr. M'hammed Abdenabaoui, SCJP President Delegate, and Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, the Minister of Justice, seeks to strengthen the pillars of collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in criminal justice and human rights.

The framework agreement, signed by Mr. M'hammed Abdenabaoui, SCJPD President Delegate and Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice, aims to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions. The partnership focuses on key areas of shared interest, particularly criminal justice and human rights.

The framework agreement seeks to organize workshops, academic meetings, and joint roundtables addressing human rights and pressing national and international issues. It also includes the development of a reference guide on fair trial standards, aligning with Moroccan legislation, ratified international conventions, and jurisprudence.

The two parties have also agreed to implement a joint committee tasked with implementing shared objectives and projects. Operating under the guidance of the supervisory body, the committee will oversee and evaluate the execution of the agreed-upon activities.
