It is worth noting that the twinning agreement was officially launched on May 02, 2019, with the support of the European Union and the Belgian Development Agency, and was implemented by a Belgian coalition of the Belgian Federal Public Service for Justice, the High Council of Justice of Belgium, Council of Courts of Appeals and First Instance Courts, and Council of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The parties have reviewed the outcome of the executed projects on accompanying and supporting the series of reforms witnessed by the Moroccan justice system, promoting and building the capacities of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, encouraging the independence of judicial power in Morocco by furthering judicial capacities, opening up to the best judicial practices, and moralizing the judiciary through the Code of Judicial Deontology, which was carried out as part of this agreement.
The parties have expressed their satisfaction with the implemented projects and underlined their positive outcome.
