On the occasion of His Majesty’s King Mohammed VI high approval of the Council’s appointment of judicial officials in several jurisdictions of the Kingdom, the First President of the Court of Cassation, President Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power received, along with the General Prosecutor of the King at the Court of Cassation, President of the Public Prosecution, and with the presence of the Secretary General of the Council, the 14 newly appointed judicial officials.

These appointments are made to the following positions:

• First President of the Appeals Court (1),
• First President of the Commercial Court of Appeals (1),
• President of the Court of First Instance (7),
• President of the Commercial Court (1),
• Prosecutor General of the King at a Court of First Instance (3)
• Prosecutor General of the King at a Commercial Court (1)

The appointments aim at injecting new blood into the judicial positions of responsibility in several jurisdictions, as well as achieving great efficiency in the judicial performance and even greater transparency in management, appointing judicial officials capable of accompanying the strategy of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power in terms of morality, integrity and righteousness, and rendering the independence of justice at the service of the fair application of the law.
