This meeting aims to strengthen judicial relations between the Supreme Council of the Judiciary of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau and the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ), and to develop mechanisms for exchanging expertise and experiences in various fields pertaining to the justice system.
On this occasion, the President Delegate gave an overview of the Moroccan Judiciary, the major shifts it witnessed, the considerable Moroccan experience in the independence of the judicial power, and statistics regarding the judicial organization. The President Delegate also touched upon the reform workshops the Council seeks to implement including, among others, workshops on moralization, modernization, and digitalization, HR training, and strengthening judicial efficiency.
For his part, Mr. José Pedro sambu discussed the judiciary and the competences of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, stressing his country’s desire to develop judicial relations between the two countries in areas of common interest, and to draw on the Moroccan judicial experience.
