This meeting aims at strengthening partnership and cooperation relations between the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ) and the judicial authorities of the brotherly Republic of Yemen, and exploring prospects for cooperation and the exchange of experience and expertise between the two countries in various fields of common interest.
On this occasion, the President Delegate gave a detailed presentation on the stages of development of the Moroccan judiciary, the latest of which was the comprehensive reform ratified by the Constitution of 2011, and the establishment of an independent judicial power headed by the His Majesty the King, as the guarantor of its independence. The President Delegate also stressed the main reform workshops implemented in the justice system, including, among others, workshops on moralization, modernization, and digitalization, HR training, and strengthening judicial efficiency.
For his part, the Yemeni Minister of Justice expressed his admiration and appreciation for the Moroccan experience in the independence of the judicial power, underlining that the purpose of this visit is to learn about the latest developments in the Moroccan judiciary, develop mechanisms for exchanging expertise and experiences in various fields pertaining to the justice system, and draw on Morocco’s expertise with regard to judges’ training.
