Mr. Otman EL OUAKILI was appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI as a member of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power on January 17, 2022, after being elected by the board of judges of First-Instance Courts.

Mr. EL OUAKILI is a judge of the first grade. He holds an LL.M. in Judicial and Legal Professions from Abdelmalek El Saadi Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences in Tangier. He is currently a Ph.D. student and has occupied several positions.

Judge EL OUAKILI joined the judiciary in 2003 and was appointed deputy prosecutor of the King at the Court of First Instance of Khemisset (2005), deputy prosecutor of the King at the Resident-Judge Center in Tifelt (2011), deputy prosecutor general of the King at the Court of Appeals of Tangier (2015), and currently works as a prosecutor of the King at the Court of First Instance of Targuist in 2018.

Mr. EL OUAKILI participated in several forums, seminars, and meetings.
