On 01 January 2021, Mr. MOHAMED ZAOUG was appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI a member of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power.
Mr. ZAOUG was born in 1949 in Agadir. He holds a Ph.D. in law and previously served as a judge. He joined the judiciary in 1971 and was involved in judicial practice at First Instance Courts, Appeals Courts, and the Court of Cassation.
In addition to the above, Mr. Zaoug assumed administrative responsibilities at the Ministry of Justice, where he worked as a Supervisor of the Administrative Department of judges and then as a Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Justice. He has been registered with the Bar Association since 2005 and stopped practicing after receiving the royal nomination to hold a membership in the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power.
