Mr. M hammed Abdenabaoui, First President of the Court of Cassation, President Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, received, Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Council’s headquarters, members of the technical committee of the African Union (AU), administered by the AU Administrative Tribunal and chaired by Mr. Sylvester Salufu Mainga, President of the AU Administrative Tribunal.
With the aim of operationalizing commercial and administrative courts established in Laayoune and Dakhla; and amid the celebration of justice workers to commemorate the 47th anniversary of the Green March; and within the context of ensuring that the judiciary is accessible to litigants and that justice is delivered in a reasonable time, thus, achieving judicial security, enhancing business climate, and achieving development in the south; and after examining the topic as part of the joint communiqué’s activity, without prejudice to the independence of judicial power; it was decided to launch itinerant court sessions within the jurisdiction of the Commercial and Administrative Courts of Agadir, according to the following program:
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, President of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, gave His high approval to the Council to appoint judicial officials in several jurisdictions, during the first session of 2022.
The Supreme Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ) and the Public Prosecution Office organized, in partnership with the Competition Council and in cooperation with the World Bank and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), a workshop conference on: “The Role of the Judicial Power in Enforcing Competition Law”, on October 12-13-14, 2022, in Rabat.
First President of the Court of Cassation, President Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, Mr. M Hammed Abdenabaoui, paid the President of the Council of State of the Italian Republic, Mr. Franco Frattini, a working visit to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Court of Cassation of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Council of State of the Italian Republic.
